Human Heart Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil Review

Since this is my first product review ever, why not start with one of my favorite products of all time?

I present to you Human Heart Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil :)

First and foremost, I'd like to give you an overview of my skin type and beauty regime. Since everybody has different skin types therefore using products could have different results to everyone.

I have a normal skin type. And I very rarely have pimples. As I take it from my Mom, this would be the result of all those tomato juices I hated when I was a child. (*Yikes!*) But still, one would pop out from time to time especially when Aunt Flo is coming ;) And no, even if I stay up late until morning, no pimples! Just horrible bags ha-ha!

As for my regime, hmm.. as gross and weird it may sound, I do not do anything with my face. I'd have episodes like once or twice in 2 weeks where I'd be masipag enough to wash my face (with my body soap). Sometimes when I feel like when I sweat and stayed out too much, I'd feel like Manila pollution is all over my face and I'd use a cleanser. More or less 5 times a month.

But as I have read from time and time again, every woman should moisturize, moisturize and lastly, moisturize. And as they say, "You should start young". That's why I had to hunt for a good moisturizer for the face. That is when I came across HHN Sunflower Beauty Oil.

Product Description (from their website):

Is there anything our Beauty Oil can't do?
Did You Know?Mineral oil, commonly used in personal care products, can actually clog pores. It works by sitting on the skin’s surface, thus blocking pores and impeding the skin’s ability to release toxins. It also dries skin and speeds up premature skin ageing. Switch to nature's alternative - sunflower oil!

Experience:

I only intended to use this product on my face especially on my dark circles. But I tried to put an even coat to my face. And I was amazed when I woke up the next day! My face was so soft and supple. It's as if I put on a facial mask the last night. It felt as if my pores minimized. It was amazing! From then on, I tried to put it all over my body and hair as a moisturizer. But since I am very tamad, I'll just put it everytime I feel like to. And everytime I do, I always wake up with a radiant face :)

Likes:

  • 100% natural
  • Filipino-made product
  • Inexpensive
  • No icky feeling
  • Absorbed by the skin easily
  • Over-all moisturizer

Dislikes:

  • The packaging. I do not know what happens but the pump somehow gets broken so it leaks when not stored in an upright position
  • After awhile, it smells like adobo. But very faintly.

Tips:

  • you could try to incorporate it into your everyday lotion. I always have this feeling whenever I apply lotion that it feels dry right after I put it on. So i tried to add a pump of sunflower oil whenever I put on lotion. And it did the trick!
  • use a pump (depending on the length) on your damp hair and say goodbye to frizzy hair! Just remember not to use too much since it is still oil and it will feel really icky if it's too much.
  • to prevent the adobo smell, try storing it in the refrigerator.

Price:
For the 50mL - P149.75
            100mL - P274

Where to buy:

  • Online - HHN website
  • Robinsons Supermarket
  • Sesou kiosks - branches
  • And I recently discovered that they are now FINALLY available to Shopwise. (I feel like it won't be long before they become available to other groceries as well.)

Would I buy again? Definitely! This is indeed a great product. I'll just have to learn to apply it religiously to achieve better results. Maybe if I do, I'd be able to attest to their "23 Miracles" ;)

My opinion matters! (Chaaar!)

Since I am very opinionated, I figured, "Why don't I inject my indecent and malicious thoughts to other people?" Just kidding. But really, this blog has been sitting for god knows how long and I thought that since I like to discover and experiment beauty products on myself, why not try to make reviews? I intended to make another blog sana but c'mon, I can't even manage this one. And honestly, I suck at remembering passwords. No need to clutter my mind for another one :D (Seriously, I wanted to insert emojis as in right now. What has using smartphone done to me?)

So..... there you go. I'll be writing reviews on products that I use and cross your fingers, because I'd also want to write about my travels and DIY's ;)

See you! xx

Things

There are so many things I want to be that I can't focus to one.
There are so many things I wanted to see that my vision turned blurry.
There are so many things I wanted to feel that my heart is wavering.
There are things in this world that can't and won't.
But here I am desiring all those things.
